“He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.” (1 Thes. 5:24 ESV) Recently I was asked to share what God has been teaching me as of late and I quickly replied with three words – GOD IS FAITHFUL. There is nothing earth-shattering about this, is there? No. It’s a truth about God [...]

new pics posted…
I’ve mentioned before how I love to create, how I really valuing creating and how I love creatives in general (see here) and one of those expressions has been photography. This is even more true now that I have a real camera (Boom D90!), thanks Mom, Dad and a friend who helped out as well! I’ve loved learning and I’ll be the first to tell you that I’m a hack! But I love it nonetheless! I have some friends (Mark and Amber specifically) who really inspire me to learn what I’m doing a capture images that will move people in some way. With that said, I’ve posted a bunch of new pics over at flickr. It’s really hard for me no to post more pics, but I try to limit it to the ones I like the most. I thought I would share a few of those here on my blog. Each of the pics is in a set over at flickr, so if you like to see more click away!

a little more web procrastination
So I wanted to get a real post up today, but it didn’t happen. Wah, wah… BUT Check out my flickr site, because I put some pics up from a coworkers’/friends’ hockey game from a few weeks ago, and pics from the half marathon today. I love the new camera my parent’s and a friend hooked me up with back in at Christmas. (Thanks again guys!)Enjoy the pics and these two videos, one that is just beautifully creative and the other that is outrageously/very cool creative.
junior pics…

I love coaching. I certainly have a bit of my father in me (my dad has been a coach nearly twice as long as I’ve been alive!) and it comes out in many ways on the football field. Sometimes his fiery side that used to yell, “What in the world!” comes out and I have to walk to the opposite end of the coach’s box to keep my cool, but then there are the times that come out that I just teach, teach the game as I’ve watched for so many years, and watching it click in their minds. My dad is not just a coach but a teacher on the field and I’m thankful that it has been passed down to me. I also love that coaching is an avenue to share something deeper than the game of football with my guys over here. I’m always amazed to watch the faces of my guys when “it” clicks and it was done in a way where they weren’t belittled but encouraged. I love the pic, you see above, of Adam and myself! I think it sums up why I coach! Thank you to each of my guys and the Lions for giving me the opportunity to coach and love on you guys through the great sport of American football.

miluju podzim!
It is true, I do “love fall“! This past Sunday, I left my flat (apartment) a little early before church to go for a prayer/photo walk in Prague. I still can’t believe this place is my home! It is unreal in it’s shear beauty, I prayed much for the city as I walked and snapped pics. I dream of this city being beautiful for more than just architecture, buildings, and etc. I wanted to share some of those pics with you and also let you know I’ve also added some pics to my flickr page for your viewing (click the link or go down to the lower right hand side of the page). Here are a few of my favorites and/or notables. Thanks for stopping by.

I think this was the first time I’ve noticed this angel statue against this texture on Nerudova street and I love my old school Diesels, it will be sad when they have to be retired due to falling apart.

One of my hobbies, is trying to find buildings that would be great for a potential expression of a Tram 5(1) Church and then dreaming/praying that God will make it a reality. Above is another example of what I pray for.

This is a 10-15 walk from my flat! Unreal! I’m very grateful that I can call this place (city, not the castle) home!
