Prayer Request for 2 days out – Disciples.
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. (2 Timothy 2:1-2)
What more do I need to say than getting those verses in front of us. Recently when I was sharing with a group of people I said, “I saw God bring a lot of guys to the point where they were no longer saying, ‘I’m Czech I’m an atheist’ and my prayer is that I might have a big problem on my hands and have 10 guys to disciple in the next year!” Wow! It wasn’t a premeditated thought, it was said in the moment. There are moments like this where under the Spirit’s leading I say something and I metaphorically “bottle” it for a later date. Please join me in praying that God would do something that only He can do like this. I long to replace myself over there and have men that are passionately growing in the Lord that I can pour into!
