Right now I’m sitting in the Reeve Union of the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh looking out through these huge windows on the UW-O main strip. I’ve always loved this campus during the fall, and it feels kind of comforting to be sitting here. You may be wondering why I would be back here and there is an easy answer – FREE NET. I just got done doing some support calls and other work on the net. Now I’m going to open my Bible and get some time with Jesus. I wanted to post a couple sections of some emails I have received from Ondra, the one student that came to Christ while I was in Czech.
People ask me, “How can you do what you are doing?†(Referring to raising support for the next 6-8 years of my life) These quotes and others like them keep me going. It gives me hope and encouragement to pick up the phone, make those phone calls, and ask people to join my team of ministry partners (a.k.a. supporters). Jesus got a hold of Ondra and I pray that He would continue to rapture the hearts of Czech people!

My path to Jesus changed into 8 line highway, man! I browse through bible and have a good chat with Jesus every day. JESUS IS GREAT!!!
I’m sorry about Katrina and everything down there. Hard time for those people, and government. But I watched cnn one day and they showed a picture of park in New Orleans. All big trees were fallen, tangled ..everything which used to stand beneath the trees were broken except a white statue of Jesus who stood steadily as usual. Big branches just everywhere around him. He’s watchin us.
Ondra encouraging me to put all my heart into the support raising thing:
Hope you are doing well. I can imagine how hard it is to please the bosses and influential people or just people for money, as you wrote. They will not get for their money something they can touch, but if you make (due to them) another people living along Jesus, these Christians will surely send their money to these people (cuz they love and help ..following Jesus) when they are hit by hurricane or any emergency. Beside this, crusade is just spreading love which is good for all…no doubts.
