Indeed, July 6th is a glorious day! On July 6, 1415 a father of the reformation, Jan Hus, was burned at the stake after being dubbed an “Arch Heretic.” In short, Jan Hus was fighting for the Czech (Bohemian) spiritual condition, but today he is nothing more than a Czech nationalist in the eyes of the common Czech. May God raise up another Czech (or many Czechs) in the spirit of Jan Hus that will fight for the hearts of their countrymen! Here are a couple golden Jan Hus quotes:
“In 100 years, God will raise up a man whose calls for reform cannot be suppressed.â€
“Therefore, O faithful Christian, search for truth, hear truth, learn truth, love truth, speak the truth, hold the truth, defend the truth till death.”
