So I have a confession – I love books. I love them! I love hanging out in big bookstores, little bookstores, old bookstores, used bookstores, libraries (but not so much because it means I have to bring the book back!) and pretty much any on-line bookstore. Well, I had two surprises when I got back to my parent’s on Saturday! One was the English Standard Reformation Study Bible and a new book, The Forgotten Ways by Alan Hirsch. I thought I’ve been secretly lusting over this Bible for over a year now, and I thought it was to myself, but I guess I leaked my desires to own it! I’ve been enjoying the Bible a ton in the last week and God has already used in in my soul! I can’t wait to knock out a few books that I have underway to get to The Forgotten Ways this summer! So thank you to my friends who blessed me! I can’t tell you how much of a blessing it was to me! You Rock!
Have you thought about supporting me?

Nice…I asked for The Ref Study Bible last Christmas and I really like it, but what I REALLY want is an ESV single column Bible. While the shorter two column texts typically do read a little faster, I find that the wider single column text—probably because it forces me to read a tad slower—allows for clearer comprehension of the text…so yeah, I’m all about the single column Bibles. They’ve got one out for ESV but it’s a verse-by-verse (each new verse is a new line) layout, not paragraph layout. Someday…
I’m pretty close to knocking out the books I’m reading now…next up is the one I got from you. Lookning forward to it. Booyah.
