I know many of my faithful readers are fans of the Packers and love me in spite of the fact that I am a die-hard Bears fan! If you didn’t know I’m sorry but it’s true! But God has been very gracious and many of my friends and ministry partners are Packer fans and still choose to love this Bears fan that was displaced into Wisconsin a few years back! So in honor of the Bears dominate performance last night over the Seahawks, which moves the Bears to 4-0 and also the only NFC unbeaten team, here is the Bears’ great fight song:
Bear down, Chicago Bears,
Make every play clear the way to victory.
Bear down, Chicago Bears,
Put up a fight with a might so fearlessly.
We’ll never forget the way you thrilled the nation,
With your T-formation.
Bear down, Chicago Bears,
And let them know why you’re wearing the crown.
You’re the pride and joy of Illinois,
Chicago Bears, bear down.
We shall see how the rest of the season shakes out, but I’m feeling very good! For years a Bears’ fan was of the most pitied souls and it seems that the tied has finally turned! Oh, my Chicago Bears I won’t jump off the bandwagon, and I will never leave you, nor forsake you!
Hahaha…
Have a blessed and REVOLUTIONARY week!
***Just a little addition from an article over at CBS Sportsline by Mike Freeman:
It’s true the primary reason for Chicago’s 37-6 thrashing over a Shaun Alexander-less Seattle was the tenacity of the Bears defense. That defense is also why the Bears are, at this precious moment in time, the best team in football. Better than Indy. Better than Philadelphia. Better than Baltimore. Better than anyone. It’s not even close right now.
Oh it feels good…
